Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) was developed in China, Pan Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), design, and a joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC), with global design input.
The business concept vehicle captures the essence of language as a Buick in an elegant and expressive depth, with taut surfaces, double belt line scan starts, compared with a strong identity and later and dynamic presence.

Classical influences with modern design
According to Cao Min PATAC Concept Car Chief Designer, designers aim to create a modern global design of the Buick, but also the essence and subtle Chinese influence. To achieve this balance, they tried to pull their heritage outside the automotive industry - from classical art forms and ancient monuments.
